Return to the Barre
For many dancers, ballet never really leaves.
Adult Ballet at Pinnacle offers returning and experienced dancers a place to reconnect with classical technique, music, movement, and artistry. Designed for adults with previous ballet training, this class provides a traditional open-class experience in an elegant, focused studio environment.
Class includes barre, center work, adagio, turns, and allegro, with emphasis on alignment, strength, coordination, musicality, and expressive use of the upper body.
Whether you trained years ago, danced through college, studied pre-professionally, or simply miss the discipline and beauty of ballet, Adult Ballet offers a meaningful way to return to the art form — not as a beginner, but as someone coming home to something familiar.

What Dancers Focus On
- Barre: alignment, placement, turnout, foot articulation, and strength
- Center: adagio, tendu, pirouette preparation, port de bras, and balance
- Allegro: petit and grand allegro depending on the group
- Artistry & musicality: épaulement, breath, and expression
- Conditioning through technique — a full-body workout rooted in ballet
What to Expect
- Best suited to dancers with previous ballet experience
- Comfort with a traditional class format (barre and center)
- Not a recital-based program — train, move, and reconnect
- Newer dancers with some background: contact us for placement guidance
